Whether you’re rich or poor – we all face some of the same problems. Let’s call them LIFE PROBLEMS. These include things like finding true happiness or love, feeling true fulfillment or purpose etc. Money won’t solve these problems. BUT. When you are poor – over and above these general LIFE problems, you also have MONEY problems – such as, how will I pay for rent, food, healthcare etc. When you have money problems, they drown out the “life problems”. For example, if you are worried about covering all your basic needs, you don’t have time to focus on deeper issues of happiness and purpose.
When you are in a financially stable place however, you have time to focus on LIFE PROBLEMS, you have time to figure out relationships, to chase your dreams – without the added stress of MONEY PROBLEMS. Money does indeed solve the BASIC problems of living. It takes away the “stress” of the unknown.
So – we can be cliché and say that money can’t buy happiness… or we can face the truth and acknowledge that we all NEED money. Get your money methods in place. Breed security. Eliminate the money-problems. And spend time solving the below-surface issues of living.
